Great Video: “HILLBILLY THUNDERSTRUCK”…This Is How Rednecks Roll !!

A while back, I found this video on Facebook and then I did some digging to find-out more about it, what I found-out was simply amazing. The band is called “Steve’n’Seagulls” and they’re from Finland. Finland is a Northern European nation bordering Sweden and Russia.

Its capital, Helsinki, sits on a peninsula and coastal islands in the Baltic Sea. I guess you could say that being “Redneck” isn’t so much where you’re from….it’s a state of mind. This I will say, these boys really do this version of the ACDC hit justice. This YouTube video has OVER 45 Million views, pretty impressive for a bunch of rednecks playing music in a barn.

Here’s some info on the band courtesy of Wikipedia:

Steve ‘n’ Seagulls is a Finnish country-band, playing bluegrass versions of well-known hard rock and metal songs. The band became known in the summer of 2014 with the publication of videos on YouTube. Especially popular was the band’s version of “Thunderstruck” by AC / DC which received over 17 million views on YouTube. The band’s debut album Farm Machine was released through Spinefarm Records in May 8, 2015. In November 2015, Steve ‘n’ Seagulls were featured on The A.V. Club Undercover covering “Sabotage” by the Beastie Boys. On August 3, 2016 they released a cover of Aces High promoting their second album Brothers in Farms. The name of the band is a pun on American actor Steven Seagal.

Here’s a link to their Facebook Page.
