A Perfect Example Why Little Boats And Great White Sharks Don’t Mix [VIDEO]
In a YouTube video that has received over 6 million views, we see shark experts, Jeff Kurr and Andy Casagrande come face to face with a very aggressive great white shark that almost bit through their small boat’s tow-line, while shooting the documentary film, ‘Lair of the Megashark’. It was just off New Zealand’s Stewart Island, when they attempted to put a camera on the dorsal fin of the massive great white shark who decided right then and there to nudge the boat and bite at the thin rope that tethered the tiny boat to the main craft.
The shark disappears for a few moments and while the crew regroups, they are stunned a second time when it resurfaces dangerously close to the tiny boat, as it tries to get a hold of the bait attached to the main rig. This probably wasn’t the smartest thing to do, when all of a sudden, they see another shark breaching near the small boat before the crew decided it was too unsafe to have a boat of that size in the water in such close proximity to these large predators.
I realize this is being done all in the name of science, but there is NO WAY IN HELL, that you’d ever find me in a small boat like that. Especially when the subjects in question being studied are much bigger than the boat these guys are in.
