How To Start A Fire With A Fresnel Lens / Magnifying Glass

This is a quick demo of how to start a fire with a fresnel lens. A Fresnel lens is basically a plastic magnifying glass. These can work really well in great conditions, but when the sun is down or there are clouds in the sky this is not the fire starter you want to use. Relying on this in a serious wilderness survival situation with extreme weather will likely get you killed. These are great for practice and bushcraft, but don’t let them be your primary means of emergency fire starting. However, it is a good skill to practice to be able to know How To Start a Fire with a Fresnel lens / Magnifying glass.
