Trail Tested: The Sawyer Mini Filter Review

Derek Hansen – Sneaking in a review of the Sawyer Mini water filter and a trip report at the same time. The Sawyer Mini filter uses proprietary hollow fiber membrane filters that are small, portable, easy-to-use, reliable, and inexpensive. With its 0.1-micron filter, it’s easily the best “pump” filter I’ve ever used. It’s also extrememly light at just 2 oz (59 g) trail weight. 100,000 gallon uses (or more, if you maintain the filter). It’s awesome. Check it out.
